it's summer time and that means that a lot of you might be planning a road trip! If you are, we hope you have a great time and, for those of you planning on bringing along your dogs but aren't sure what to do, we have the advice you need. Essential Dog Stuff:

• A collapsible water bowl
• Dog food
• Toys, especially ones that can contain treats
• Dog leash, harness, and collar
• Medication and medical records

Essential Car Safety and Convenience Stuff:

• Vinyl car seat covers
• Dog ramp to assist elderly dogs
• Hard travel crate and any other safety equipment

Optional Stuff:

• Dog bed or a blanket for sleeping
• A towel or blanket for them to sit on at rest stops
• An item that smells like you to put in their crate
• Proper clothing such as a life jacket or coat
